With the warmest days of summer soon approaching, you’ll want to read these hot tips for having a successful day of golfing on our 114 acre course in the Chicago suburbs. Whether you’re sensitive to heat or just want to stay protected from the harmful effects of the sun, check out these tips and tricks to stay cool while still enjoying the scenic views of our golf course in the Chicago suburbs.

Dress Code 

By investing in a sweat-wicking golf shirt, you’ll beat those irritating sweat stains. Opting for pants over shorts or a skirt is always a good idea to protect yourself from the sun. Lastly, don’t forget your sunglasses and a hat. 

Hydration 

Hopefully you always remember to pack a water bottle in your golf bag. One key tip to remember is that hydration should take place before, during, and after your game of golf. In the August heat especially, if you don’t drink enough water prior to your day out on the course, you could risk feeling fatigued and faint. 

Replenish 

Even a few hours on the golf course with extreme heat can exhaust our bodies. Don’t forget to take advantage of breaks when you aren’t teeing off. Stop in for a refreshment at the SandTrap Bar and Grill!
